So You Think You Can Dance introduced us to the Top 10 this week and there was some hardcore dancing, some hardcore personalities, some hardcore dissing, and some hardcore overdoing of John Mayer.

Quickly because I leave for the airport in 6 hours and have to sleep at some point… I love having Mia back as a Judge! An Emmy nominated Judge at that! I was psyched to see Wade get his shot at choreographing this new twist in the show. All of the solo’s will be the exact same routine which gives us a chance to critique each dancers take on the choreography. I was psyched to see me some Neil in some tight polyester and I was psyched to just have the show on!

Lacey is one hot sexy ass lady. Her Mormon relatives must flip their lids to see her sex it up as she does. WOW can the girl command a stage. Working it out from front to back, there was nothing wrong with her performance. Flawless. Danny’s as well. She ate him alive, but the boy can move.

Neil and Sara were electric, energetic, and quite the disco duo! Those pants did not disappoint, I love Neil even more now! Hot Tamales!

Sabra and Kameron were good I thought. She was absolutely stunning to watch and he was better than he has been for weeks. I get that he’s still lacking something but you’ve got to hand it to the kid for trying! I still miss Sabra and Dominic together though, don’t you?

Dominic and Jaimie’s Viennese Waltz was soooo not what I expected. It was not the Viennese Waltz we’ve come to know and love. She is always stunning with her lines and all but this was hands down Dom’s worst week. Like Mia said, 1 bad week… not too shabby!

Lauren and Pasha were really good tonight, I hate to admit it. The whole transformers opening and close were incredible to watch and sooooo perfectly in sync. I still don’t like her though. She annoys me.

Remember how I said I was excited for Wade’s choreography? Yeah, it wasn’t his best and to then see it 10 times was a little, how do I say this… TOO FRAKKIN’ MUCH! If I had to hear John Mayer say he was waiting for that world to change one more time, I was going to turn on every light in the house, run every air conditioner and start dumping oil into the Boston Harbor. That world needed to END!

In theory it was a good try. I did like watching how each one was different. Of the girls, I thought Sara, Sabra, and Lacey were the best. Of the boys, Neil, Pasha, and Danny.

So who goes home and who stays? Ideally I want Lauren gone. I worry about Jaimie because her solo was weak and then getting stuck with Dom was not good for her this week. Over on the guys side, it’s gotta be Kameron right? Poor Kam Kam!

Oh and how funny that once again Cousin Heidi got NO LOVE AT ALL? Dmitry’s up there shaking his thang and there’s poor Cousin Heidi screaming LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME, I’M ON TV AGAIN! Tragic.

Raise your hand if you wanted to KNOCK ON NEIL’S WOOD?

I’m currently in San Diego, but not for Comic Con, though that’s all I’ve been hearing about lately so perhaps I’ll stop by…

On to the show: I missed the first few minutes and turned it on halfway during Lauren & Pasha’s dance. I had no idea Wade was giving all the soloists the same routine, so when I first watched Jaimie, I thought “hmm, not a routine that shows what she can do at all, what an odd choice by Wade, wasting such talent just to make a political statement.” Didn’t realize I was going to have to suffer through that routine 9 more times. I thought, for a Wade routine, it just really wasn’t that good at all. Normally, he takes the dancer’s unique strengths & combines it with his amazing choreography to create magic. But trying to create one routine for 10 distinct dancers, just didn’t work for me. I guess you can’t really do a Rama-lama with just one dancer… the routine was just not creative and kinda “blah” for me. He should stick to group & partner routines and leave his political statements for his website And I was so excited for his choreography too!

Like I said, I’m in SD so I don’t have tivo - but did Mary critique Pasha for having a Russian ballroom flair during his solo & then praised Danny for making the choreography smooth? Personally, Pasha & Danny’s take on Wade’s routine were my two favs - I just found it amusing that Danny “made it his own” while Pasha (paraphrasing what Nigel said) “couldn’t handle this style.” Just the fact that Pasha threw in the making the heart shape on his chest at the end (in between the outline & the peace sign) made me believe he really was trying to add his own flair to the choreography.

Lacey is a sexpot. I LOVED her & Danny’s routine. The Viennese Waltz was so odd, and Nigel forgot to mention that on top of them doing a Viennese Waltz with a Latin flair, they were doing it to a Broadway song - so really it was some odd combo of 3 styles. No wonder Dominic was overhamming the whole thing.

I’ve got BOTH my hands raised! Oh..and he’s MY boyfriend.

I’d knock on Neil. As long as he kept his mouth closed. I thought Danny was beautiful. I was suprised. Dom was awful. But I think it’s Kam going home. As for the girls - tough to call. I hate Lauren too but she did well last night. I can’t pick. I am always wrong on the girls! Have fun at Comic Con! Lick some Jenson for me!

I’m changing Heidi’s name to ‘She who must not be named’ cause seriously, she gets zero respect by the judges and her coaching partner. Somebody please give Heidi a shout out already!

Sadly he won’t get to show off to his hometown but you lucky bastard will get to see them live as one of the first cities. DAMN YOU! I may just have to come down for that…

We thought Neil and Sara were DA BOMB last night!!!!!!!!!! Neil’s flip was so awesome we can not believe it! We love Neil so much ♥ We think the best couple was NEIL AND SARA! DUH! The was Jamie and Dominic. Like what was that. THAT WAS A WALTZ!! I think the chorographer doesn’t know what a waltz is LOL! Poor Kam the judges gave him a slap in the face. We keep shouting SHUT UP at the T.V. The dance wasn’t THAT bad!!!!!!!!! Gosh lightin up. Danny and Lacey ( a.k.a DANCEY like hello been there done that with TRANGI) were pretty good and we hate saying this cause they think that they are all that. Lacey thinks she already won SYTYCD. WE LOVED LAUREN AND PASHA!! O.k everybody lighten up on Lauren cause she is great so get over yourselves! OMG! That dance was awesome ADMIT IT ( SO HA ) As for the solos nobody was that great but for some reason we liked watching the solos So who do we think is going home? We’ll put it this way Dominic and Jamie start packing!

There was one point in Neil’s solo where he just hung in the air like he was absolutely weightless. It was amazing!! I skipped over Kameron and Lacey’s solos. Mostly because I was SO SICK of that song and the same dance over and over, and also because Kam is boring (but after Neil’s comments I might go back and watch it) and I dislike Lacey quite a bit.

I was so happy to see Danny being less of an arrogant lame ass. I was all like, “Awww omg Danny awwww alkjfglkajdfgj.” Jesus he is gorgeous. Could have done better with his scream thing during the solo, though.

Lauren needs to go.

I don’t even know who I want to be the winner. At first I thought Pasha but then Danny is hella growing on me and I love Sabra and Dominic.

Overall, it was an excellent night of dancing!!

*raises hand* I’d LOVE to knock on Neil’s wood =]

Don’t be dissing on my home state! I’m pretty sure you can get Tivo there. After all, you have cable, a phone, and electricity!

Where in SD are you? I still have family there and miss them a lot. I also miss SD oddly enough.
