9/13/04 - I just added pictures for the Rain Date to make up the hurricane Day 3 that was cancelled. It was a gorgous late summer day in the mid 70's and sunny. About 30 riders participated in riding from Regis College to Salem as was planned on August 15th.

In the past two years I have biked 575 miles to help educate, prevent, and cure HIV and AIDS.
In those two years I have raised over $5,000 from friends, family, coworkers, strangers, and pets. It has been an incredibly fulfilling experience and one that I will be tackling again this year.
For my third attempt at single handedly curing the world of HIV infection, I will once again ride 225 miles in the dead of summer heat and humidity.
Will I be applying
sunscreen? Absolutely.
Will I be applying butt balm? Absolutely.
Will I complain? Absolutely.
Will I finish? Absolutely.
Will you help me raise money? Absolutely!
This year I am participating in AIDS Action's second cycling adventure called Mass Red Ribbon Ride (MR3).
A collaborative event with 18 AIDS Organizations throughout Massachusetts as benefactors. To learn more about these incredible educational and preventative agencies, please click here!
Still a grassroots effort, AIDS Action has received some incredible sponsorship this year (Verizon, Poland Spring, etc.) to help alleviate production costs. MR3 is predicting at least 90% of all funds raised will be dispersed to beneficiaries. If you have followed my rides, you know that this is an incredible increase from my first ride put on by the evil corporate money-monger Palotta. Which was only dispersing about 40%.
Please see the side bar for information on how to donate, how to track my training progress, and for any other updates that may be helpful.
Thank you for again visiting my ride site and for hopefully supporting this vital cause.
love, dan.
